Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid Systems Engineer to join our intel team. The selected Systems Engineer will serve as an Engineer performing remote maintenance and refresh efforts for 8 sites. Performs daily interaction with partner entities

Candidates should have the following qualifications: 

TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

The Engineer will need extensive experience in Linux and Ciena to support with system administration, troubleshooting, loading software, configuration of telecom network and software packages
Needs knowledge of cables and collection systems
The work requires a thorough understanding of data flow
The Engineer will engage SMEs, perform data validation once software is deployed, submit DMRs for data flow path problems/fixes, configure new software updates, and perform troubleshooting
Must be experienced in NiFi and Linux.

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

Analyzing user requirements, concept of operations documents, and system architectures to develop system requirements specification and ultimately lead design and development activities
Guiding users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies
Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations
Developing technical documentation
Developing System Architecture and system design
Preparing system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
Comfortable interacting with customer regarding system engineering technical considerations

Salary Range: $105,000 to $200,000
