Belay Technologies is seeking a SharePoint Developer to join our intel team. Be part of a small but dynamic team that develops SharePoint solutions across the customer space.  Day to Day duties include gathering requirements from customers, building out custom lists, libraries, and workflows, and testing SharePoint solutions with the customer to ensure solution is error free before deployment. Identify, analyze, and correct active and impending problems with SharePoint.
Support usage of SharePoint by creating accounts, modifying configuration files, or performing whatever actions are needed to allow users and processes to be given access to the product or to be removed from access. Analyze SharePoint for performance and usage issues and develop configuration and other changes needed to prepare the COTS product for significant changes is usage levels. Assess applications utilizing SharePoint for impacts due to COTS upgrades, develop plans to implement COTS upgrades, and implement COTS upgrades in such a manner that it minimizes user impact. Research, architect, produce, and deliver enhancements for corporate applications and/or collaborative/web services -deployments to include implementation of opensource databases, Active Directory/LDAP, auditing, and metric reports. Produce and deliver configuration documentation, providing updates as system changes. Test and review major changes to the design and application to ensure changes are bug free and have the intended results.
Provide solutions to address newly discovered service shortcomings or emerging collaboration requirements for mission critical customers, as prioritized by the government. Gather and document customer requirements, develop schedule for strategic solutions detailing solution architecture, CONOPS and details as needed depending on the complexity of the solution developed.
Deploy solutions with customer interaction and approval to ensure the solution deployment minimizes negative impact to the customer in terms of timing and any required system downtime.
Produce and deliver training to application users and if needed provide application management mechanisms as part of the solution. Daily monitoring to ensure physical and virtual servers are running error free and, in a government, approved configuration. Interface with customers to document incoming server requirements, develop solution(s) to meet customer server requirements, deliver the server(s) meeting customer requirements. Test and review major changes to the design and application to ensure changes are bug free and have the intended results. Provide solutions to address newly discovered service shortcomings or emerging collaboration requirements for mission critical customers, as prioritized by the government. 


Candidates should have the following qualifications: 
  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering. Ten (10) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • At least four (4) years of experience with SharePoint
  • Extensive knowledge of C#
  • Ability to work during core hours of 10AM-2PM. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of ASP.NET, and .NET Framework, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services 
    Experience with Java, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, XML 
    Ability to clearly communicate ambiguous or highly complex concepts to all audiences. 
    Ability to understand the big picture and align the day-to-day activities to support that picture
