Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior Cyber Operator/Developer/Analyst to join our intel team. CODAs shall provide technical and engineering support in the exploitation of commercial network infrastructure and computer systems. The Subcontractor shall have an understanding of cyber operations, with expertise in enterprise computer and telecommunication network systems.
CODAs shall provide technical and analytical support in the exploitation of commercial network infrastructure and computer systems. This analyst shall have an understanding of enterprise computer network defense (CND), with expertise in computer and telecommunication network systems and cyber operations. The Subcontractor shall have a thorough understanding of common digital network packet protocols (e.g. TCP/IP) and network analysis tools (e.g. tcpdump, Wireshark).
CODAs shall assist in the research, acquisition, and development of tools and concepts for operations (see classified annex for additional details). Development duties to be performed include analysis of shell scripts, binaries, and source code as well as the documentation of all tools developed, and analysis performed.

CODAs shall assist the government in performing operations. This includes executing pre-determined steps in documented operations, developing such documents, and updating tools, tactics, and procedures. Under the direction of the government, the operator/developer will ensure that risks are understood and that mitigation steps are taken.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:  

  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • 10 years' experience and bachelor's degree
  • For LCAT level determination, a degree in one of the following areas would be considered relevant:
    • Computer Science
    • Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Cyber Operations
    • Computer Networks
    • Cybersecurity
    • Information Security
    • Information Assurance, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college
    • * RIOT/FORGE/CNOQC certification may be used in place of an associate degree for LCAT level determination.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

  • Collectively, all staffed CODA positions shall, collectively possess the following specialized skills (i.e., all CODAs do not need to have each skill, but as a team at least one member should have every skill on the list):
    • RIOT/FORGE/CNOQC certification* or other relevant certifications
    • Knowledge of data forensics (i.e., what evidence is left behind when conducting activity)
    • Network Analysis
    • Knowledge of common System Administrator tactics, techniques, and procedures
    • Experience in computer network defense and overwatch tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • CODAs shall assist the government in performing operations. This includes executing pre-determined steps in documented operations, developing such documents, and updating tools, tactics, and procedures. Under the direction of the government, the operator/developer will ensure that risks are understood and that mitigation steps are taken.
    Each CODA shall possess the following core skills and their derivatives:
    • CLI experience on Linux
    • Understanding of network design
    • Scripting skills in Bash, Python.
    • Experience with operations, preferably in a semi-automatic scripted operations environment
    • Excellent critical thinking skills/ability to function in a rapidly changing environment
    • Ability to work collaboratively
    • Experience in computer network protocols and network analysis tools

Salary Range: $165,000 TO $183,500
