Belay Technologies is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to join our intel team. The Mobile Systems & Inventory Specialist plays a key role in managing and maintaining mobile device inventory, ensuring compliance with security and configuration requirements, and supporting a fast-paced, ever-changing mobile environment. This role involves standing up and maintaining small mobile networks, updating operating systems, keeping System Security Plans (SSPs) current, and collaborating closely with both internal teams and external customers to deliver efficient, secure, and reliable mobile solutions.

Salary Range: $105,000 to $200,000

This role involves standing up and maintaining small mobile networks, updating operating systems, keeping System Security Plans (SSPs) current, and collaborating closely with both internal teams and external customers to deliver efficient, secure, and reliable mobile solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records for all mobile devices, accessories, and network components.
- Track asset lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accountability and readiness.
- System Security & Compliance:
- Keep SSPs (System Security Plans) up to date with the latest security and configuration requirements.
- Ensure all mobile devices and networks comply with organizational and federal security standards.
- Work with security and compliance teams to address vulnerabilities and implement best practices.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
- 3yrs, B.S. or 4 additional yrs in place of B.S.
- Experience managing mobile devices (iOS, Android, or specialized mobile systems).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control.
- Familiarity with SSPs or other compliance documentation.
- Basic understanding of network setup and troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, VPNs, mobile hotspots, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
- Proven ability to adapt to rapid changes in technology and priorities
Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
- Inventory experience.
- Patching experience.
- Experience working with an ISSO.
